Glasswort is a type of succulent that is indigenous to North America, Europe, South Africa, and South Asia. It is a salt tolerant plant, which allows it to grow on beaches, marshes, and alongside coastal swamps. The younger, more delicate, leaves and stems, are often used raw in salads, cooked, or pickled. The leaves have a bit of a crunch and in addition to being eaten, can also be used to make oil. When out of stock, this product can be grown to order in 8 Weeks.
