May 17, 2019sakura matsuri on main street: flushing, queens ————————————————— glutinous rice, red bean, black sesame ————————————————— for our dessert course, we decided to utilize the given ingredient of “rice and beans”. we made our own mochi stuffed with a traditional red bean paste. we tossed in it a homemade toasted soybean flour and powdered sugar, and then topped it with black sesame seeds. we served this with a red bean syrup reduction, and toasted black sesame ice cream. garnished with a beautiful dragon wing begonia from @farm.one. #chez
