December 5, 2019| HYDRATION & ELECTROLYTES | Hydration is an extremely important part of the regeneration process. When the body is properly hydrated, the blood's consistency enables it to efficiently travel throughout the body and the growth of muscle tissue. This process speeds up cellular renewal and allows hydrated cells to remain alkaline. While maintaining hydration is important, it is not necessary to drink large amounts of fluids. Only by eating a raw and whole, minimally processed foods, would get much of their moisture. Fruits and vegetables are filled with water. When food is cooked, especially at high temperatures, it loses the majority of its water content; hence, once consumed, these foods can act as a sponge pulling water from the system, increasing thirst. When you consume processed grains, your body needs more fluids to aid in the digestion. QUANTUM | omija & triphala | #plantbased #adaptogens
