I’m all about what we can *add* to our plate--not remove or deprive--to help us *feeel goood.* I also like focusing on what’s *in* my control rather than what is not. Especially with Covid, why not give our bodies (& our immune systems) the tools they need in order to fight off viruses & bacteria?. . . We need greens in order to function optimally, but that’s old news. In reality, we most likely don’t get enough greens in our diet on a day to day--because who can eat platefuls of greens all day, everyday?! So what’s an easy way to get all the nutrients we’d want from pounds of greens without the hassle? . . Microgreens! Wild fact: the nutrients from 1 handful of microgreens is equivalent to eating an entire adult plant of the same microgreens. I.e. You’d have to eat 2-4 *entire heads* of broccoli to get the same nutritional value from 1 handful of microgreens! And let’s be real... How much more approachable are cute little microgreens *think tossed onto your next takeout burger, pizza, or pasta* than a huge head of broccoli?!
