As a 2nd generation Black chef from Tennessee with over 12 years of professional experience including multiple James Beard and Michelin restaurants, Southern comfort is subtly the backbone for CJ’s cookery but many of those years were spent in establishments that specialized in Vegan/Gluten-free, French, Italian, Japanese, Chinese, Bar Food and Mexican cookery.
