Micro Shungiku

Glebionis coronaria

Serrated leaves with mild chrysanthemum flavor

Micro shungiku is an mild and aromatic green with serrated leaves. It comes from the same family as chrysanthemums ans is used as a leaf vegetable in Asian cuisine. The micro variety can be cooked or eaten raw, used to flavor soups or stir-fry. It pairs especially well with crudo, as its flavor helps cut the acid used in preparation of the raw fish.
