Nepitella (Marvelette White)

Calamintha

Minty, notes of oregano and basil, beautiful pungent pink flowers

Nepitella's leaves look like a large-leaved oregano but taste mintier with undertones of basil or oregano. Nepitella Marvelette White's small flowers bloom along its stem and are a delicate white. You can use Nepitella's leafy petite tops as a fresh garnish in place of basil on pizzas or its petite flowers to add a spicy minty accent to a side of grilled summer squash. Or, our favorite, try it in a simple mushroom pappardelle with lemon and a good, fresh, peppery olive oil.
